Working at MHP

At MHP, we encourage fun and teamwork both inside and outside the office. We periodically engage in events that help to foster a spirit of camaraderie among our team. Working together in a different capacity outside the typical office environment allows us to interact and get to know each other in different ways.

Below are some examples of activities and events in which we have participated.

MHP Incredible Race
On June 26, 2008, the entire team at MHP participated in The Incredible Race, a fun and challenging team building event loosely based on the television show The Amazing Race. The firm was divided into teams which competed in a scavenger hunt style competition throughout the city of New Haven. Each team was given a list of possible tasks and challenges to be completed, a digital camera to document the successful completion of each task, and a limousine to take each team around the city.

Courting Success with Jen Rizzotti
On May 29, 2008, 80 professionals (including our own Joseph DeCusati and Heather Young) took to the University of Hartford Sports Center basketball court for a leadership development program focusing on nutrition, communication, teamwork, and fitness. “Courting Success with Jen Rizzotti” was run by University of Connecticut basketball legend and current University of Hartford women's basketball coach Jen Rizzotti and CSCPA President John Turgeon.
